Forged version of our best selling Ultralight CNC brake callipers.
The same clever cam design as the CNC version ensures fantastic stopping power and finger tip modulation. They're just 20g heavier for the pair than the CNC Alu versions so still tip the scales at just 225g including bolts and pads - massively under the weight of even the best high end brakesets (Dura Ace 7900 brakes weigh 284g).
Not yet been used but look fine, may even be excellent.
Strange design. It crushes your brake cable and is hard to center. When I installed the brakes, everything was good. During the ride after a few brakes the brakepads did not open up on both sides, but kept rubbing the rim on one side. The silver bolts make the black calipers look cheap. What's good is that they also fit wider rims, that was my main reason to buy these.
However I'm a bit disapointed that the free postage limit has been raised from £20 to £50
So far so good, weight is only about 4 grams off what was advertised. Item looks better in the metal. However, it took me a while to figure how to secure the brake cable so a simple illustration would have been great. Definitely a must buy at that price point!
Very light caliper brake. Should be perfect when i install them next spring.
A bit tricky to install,
Great quality and a super weight reduction
fast and kind service!
no problems, quick sender of item
I ordered the black version and they look super dooper and seem to work very well.
Brilliant brakes- have a set on my other road bike and decided to upgrade my winter bike- no hesitation in going for the planet x brakes again.
nice looking and light brakes, great for my light bike!
Lightweight, easy to set up and do the job of brakes three times the price for a bargain outlay. Highly recommended.
Good stopping power, great looks
Still early but liking them so far, a little fiddly for wheel change but just a small point. Maybe some instructions on the web about installation?
I was rreally impressed with these brakes. Had used them on my planet-x bike and buying it again for the next bike am building.
