Raced for a season and given a full service and a clean bill of health the Kakaboulet cyclocross bike is ready to be given a second life.
The Kakaboulet is built for tackling anything you can throw at it. The Kakaboulet is serious about getting dirty. It has race ready geometry that simply soaks up rough terrain and frame design features that help you get maximum power down through your tyres.
Massive, box section chainstays and an Edge-To-Edge BB shell provide a rock solid platform for maximum pedalling efficiency, helping you to make the most of every pedal revolution. Narrow seat stays add a touch of vertical compliance into the back end to smooth out rough surfaces and they're shaped to give huge amounts of tyre and mud clearance. A tapered, oversized headtube and straight blade fork combine with a through axle drop-out design to create a precisely tracking front end that goes exactly where you point it even through the rough stuff.
Hand built in Toray T800 carbon fibre with an exacting attention to detail, the Kakaboulet frameset is created with our 'EPS Inside' moulding technology. Main tube frame junctions are laid up over pre-shaped EPS formers. This allows for a more accurate placement of carbon in the mould and helps to eliminate wrinkles on the inside of the frame to deliver stronger, lighter frames.
There are plenty of carbon cyclocross bikes that you could choose to ride, but there's none better than the Kakaboulet and certainly not with this spec at anywhere near this price.
This bike has been raced for a full season and as such has a few signs of wear. there is obvious tyre rub on the inside of the left seatstay and the right hand chainstay. there are chain chips in the paint on the right hand chainstay and a paint chip on the front fork. It's been raced hard but it's perfectly functional and offers a real taste of the high end for beer budget money
