High quality polycarbonate platform pedals available in a range of colours.
Great service, kept informed at each stage of my order. Delivered when promised and in good condition.
Good pedals, mainly used on sand, no problems so far.
Pedals were unsuitable for the bike- had to return them to Showroom and replace them with more suitable pedals ( Initial advise was somewhat wide of the mark- I would have hoped to avoid this scenario)
Wonderful rotating pedals
Great customer service and a fast delivery
Not the biggest fan of flat pedals, but I wanted something to work on my (poor) skills. These fit the bill, and won't make too much of a mess of my shins.
What can I say, they're a cheap ass 4 pair of pedals that are getting swapped onto a pub bike.
Apparently the chainset that had "been put aside specially for my build" was out of stock when they came to actually build the bike up, not a biggie, but it put them back by a few days. On receiving my new ride, I was pretty disappointed to discover that the seat had been damaged in transit courtesy of the bike moving around in the gigantic shipping box. Who would have thought that it might be a good idea to put a little bit of packing around a 1000 bike when shipping it with Yodel???. Tried to get a replacement saddle, but they wanted me to send the damaged one back before they'd replace it - this wasn't going to work as I had a ride planned for the upcoming weekend and they wouldn't be able to turn it around in time. Also disappointed to discover they don't set up the shocks before freighting. Even more pissed off that they don't actually tell their customers that their new bike won't be rideable until after a visit to a local bike workshop, or purchasing a shock pump. It's not exactly rocket science is it... Just put a note into the email communications or the website letting people know what to expect when buying a bike from there. It's all about expectations guys, make things like exchanges where it's not the customer's fault easy and provide clear information and you won't have people like me leaving reviews like this. Can't say I'm likely to buy through them again, it would have to be a very compelling deal that no other shop would price match.
Ace for the money, big but quite light.
Bike arrived in really good time but it was difficult to ascertain when my bike was ready, would arrive, if it was ready to pick up.
Overall happy with my purchase. Was dissapointed that i was given a build date then heard no more from them for the bike to turn up 5 days before it was meant to with no communication to let me know it had been built or sent! Poor communication on their behalf. Also the front tyre was completely flat so i had to spend 30 minutes to get the tyre sitting right on the wheel. Not what you expect from a brand new bike.
There were good value for money and were just what I wanted.
brilliant service bike came in excellent condition in box and well set up
There is a 'creaking' noise from the pedals within 30 mins of using these for the first time - feels like the bearings are making the noise - I suspect that I will have to buy new ones.
Excellent because Planet X were flexible with regard to the Ni Civil Service Bike to Work Scheme and dispatched the bike before payment - a requirement of the Gov scheme. Would have liked a little more flexibility as regards an option of buying an 'additional' Bluto fork (bike supplied with a fully regid one). This was refused on the grounds that they are only available for bike builds.
These are great value for money, albeit the bearings aren't brilliant.
Nice and light and strong.
At the discounted price these are amazing - a really nice pedal that you can lean up against a wall without ruining. Very practical and aesthetically pleasing.
Just the ticket for a keen six year old.
