The Notus road shoe by Carnac is a good all-round road shoe, harnessing many features found on shoes almost twice its price, and is well suited to riders wanting to upgrade from their entry level shoes into something a bit more peloton-worthy.
You can be sure your foot is safe and sound in the Notus, thanks to the shell-moulded asymmetrical heel that gives you the ideal support your foot needs when clipped in. Carnac shoes offer up good ventilation too with the I.A.I aeration system on the front and rear of the shoe that take air in, cooling your feet in the process. A carbon/polyamide sole construction keeps things stiff, light and power transfer at its optimum. Another feature that place this firmly in the 'serious' use category, is the upper ratchet closure mechanism, so you can adjust the compression on your foot to perfection.
A leader in international cycling since being founded in 1949. Carnac are known for their technical innovation and quality of product. The choice of professionals throughout the decades, Carnac have patented many inventions that are now seen as standards in cycling footwear. From the first rigid polyamide soles, to the magnetic closure system, Carnac, don't just meet cyclists expectations, they surpass them.
