The Vittoria Voyager Hyper Folding laughs in the face of heavier, slower rolling tyres from other brands. It's the perfect choice for regular commuting, touring and long distance tarmac expedition riding.
Vittoria have created a fast rolling , lightweight and durable tyre that shrugs off gutter garbage to provide comfortable and efficient performance, mile after mile. Their skinny tyre racing pedigree is on show in the who's who list of technologies that make up the Voyager Hyper. Genuine 120TPI thread count, triple shielded puncture protection, reflective sidewalls and a rubber compound that is built to last with endless grip even in the wet are all taken from their pro-level tyre range.
No matter if you are on the daily commute or fully laden for a two week expedition the Voyager Hyper keeps on rolling. That's why it's our best selling high volume 700c tyre. Try a pair for yourself- we're confident you'll love them.
Great tyres. Provides a very comfy ride without sacrificing too much speed. And the easiest tyres I've ever fitted. Great for buzzing around the potholed, cobbled streets of Edinburgh. Amazing value for money. Haven't had them long enough to judge if they are puncture magnets or not.
Arrived quickly and as described.
Choice tyres for comfort and speed.
Quick fulfillment and shipping to the U.S. within the tine stated
my second pair of these - expect to be very happy. Amazingly fast, easy rolling tires
The Vittoria Voyager tyres are an absolute bargain. Rolling resistance is very low and high speeds are easily attainable and are a must for commuting on you're crosser or tourer. Slightly twitchy in the wet but I guess that's to be expected. Heartily recommend this product in particular at this heavily discounted price.
As always Planet X do what they say' service is exemplary...
I cycle-commute with a backpack and had the tires sent to work as I am not home when deliveries arrive. I was disappointed that the tires were sent unravelled in a plastic bag rather than neatly folded in a package like folding tires normally are. I managed to pack them down to go into my backpack and I guess they were a bargain so no big deal.
My trusty Michelin Pilot Sport developed a sidewall tear after 3 years and 1 puncture. Being discontinued I had a hard time finding something similar. I took the plunge on the Voyager following bad experiences with cheaper models from their range. I must admit I am really impressed. I have it on the back wheel of my commuter and it feels faster, comfier and with more or similar grip. My rims are very narrow (Alex R450) so was worried it would be too much. All seems fine, tyre doesn't roll in corners and the volume is very pleasant considering the amount of potholes we have in Edinburgh. No punctures so far... it is a lot thinner than the Michelin so we'll see.I would definitely buy again, even the wire bead version, as it rolls really well.
Very helpful as always and great prices.
Look decent but not got them fitted yet.
Great tyres, light and seem to roll very well. Ridden over rough gravel and slight off road and still seem grippy. Might order some more as spares as well impressed with them.
Fulfillment of order fine, but then got bombarded with emails requesting I can confirm my subscription to the newsletters. Wrote two emails complaining, received no response to either. Rude.
Fijne bandjes voor mijn Salsa Vaya voor op het asfalt. Comfortabel en snel. Aan te bevelen.
Too early to know how good they are.
Good tyres. Measure a little over than actual size for me. 36mm average width.
Measure true to size with a micrometer - perhaps slightly over the stated width. Give or take 39mm.
