Description

Holdsworth dominated the UK race scene on the road during the 1970's, and with the Roi de Velo we're hoping to replicate that success on the track. With one 6-day track meet already dominated this season they're off to a good start. Now that the Roi De Velo has received UCI approval it's ready to be raced on the track anywhere in the world.

The Roi de Velo is Holdsworth's first full-carbon Track Bike and its an absolute belter. Designed to get every last watt straight to the back wheel while helping you to cheat drag with smart tubing profile choices that slice through the air.

The Roi de Velo uses the same hand lay-up carbon manufacturer process as the UCI approved Super Professional Team bike. Of course its significantly stiffer in all directions to maximise your pedalling efficiency to help you save those precious watts for your dive for the line.

The Roi de Velo breaks new ground for Holdsworth, and we sincerely suspect that it will help you break more than a few PBs on the boards.

Frame Essentials

Don't forget your new frame essentials and spares to get you up and rolling.

Sizing Guide

Rider HeightSuggested Frame Size
5′5″ to 5′7″ 49cm
5′6″ to 5′9″ 51cm
5′8″ to 5′11″ 53cm
5′10″ to 6′2″  56cm
6'1″ to 6′4″  58cm

Sizing Notes

All frame size recommendations are approximate. A good fit will also depend on the correct choice of stem length, correct bike set-up for the rider and riding style.

Correct frame size choice can vary greatly with riders' torso length. If you have longer legs and a shorter torso, go for a slightly shorter stem. If you think you are borderline between sizes, and you have longer legs and a shorter torso, go for the smaller frame size. If you have shorter legs and a longer torso, go for the larger frame size to get the extra top tube length.

As the frame sizes increase, so does the length of the head tube. If you are inflexible or perhaps have a history of back problems, consider going for a larger frame size. This will increase the relative height of the handlebars making the position less “extreme”. The larger frame will also have a longer top tube, so you’ll need to compensate for this with a shorter stem.
