Superb light, only a few rides old so not a long term review. The light is very bright and battery seems to last well, charging is simple but the bracket definitely lets the side down, it seat rail mounted for reference and it basically doesn't fit my rails well at all as if it's designed for a narrower rail pattern, the bolt is also useless, a strange size of 3.5mm, i'm guessing as I didn't have one of those so opted for a different m5 bolt I had spare that was of much better quality than what came supplied. Overall a great light but the bracket lets it down.

This light is great. It's exactly what I wanted, being straightforward, but having a very effective level of light for a low cost USB LED. The only thing that let's it down (& the only reason it doesn't get a top rating) is the bracket. The bracket is easy enough to mount but engaging and disengaging the light is fiddly and awkward. Rubber brackets are popular with manufacturers, but I was informed by Planet X that there are no replacement ones from Jobsworth for this light. I have a friend who swears by Knog lights and given how long he's had them an all in one rubber bracket solution may be the way forward, but I definitely feel that more of an effort could have been made with the Canopus bracket, which in comparison is somewhat clunky and only just about fit for purpose. I expect it to fail after a while, so in the meantime I'll be looking for a viable alternative.

Planet X always maintain a fantastic level of service and this time was no exception. I had to exchange a faulty front light and the process was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Many thanks!

Shame does not come with same rubber mount as front. Worth widening slots so can mount high under seat. Would have preferred vertical on post.

Nice little light, but the second faster for the seat post was missing

Very bright for the price (I paid 6 each). The beam is not at all focused but is more of a flood light so I am actually using the front one to light the shed or garden! The button takes quite a firm press to operate but it works. Build quality is ok. The mount to go under the seat is very good and the rubber mount seems strong and works well

Bought some lights in their 'Flash sale' at a fraction of price other retailers are selling them. They arrived quickly and were well packaged. I've bought two bikes and several sundries over the last couple of years and cannot fault Planet X.

Good light to be seen by (you won't find your way very easily along an unlit country lane with it). It's fairly bright and shows up well from a distance but it doesn't cast a beam as such, just a broad spread. Ideal as your front safety light. Run time on constant low power is around 3 to 4hrs I'd guess, I've never run it flat and always charge my lights at every opportunity. The one fault is that the rubber cover over the USB charge port is very easily pulled off and to reinstall it you need to open the case of the light. Fixing strap is quick, easy and robust. Get this light at the right price and I'd fully recommend it.
