Incredible value for money carbon soled MTB shoes from Spanish footwear brand LUCK. In anyone elses line-up this would be a top end shoe, but LUCK call it mid-range. Crazy!

With a stiff full-carbon outer sole with aggressive replaceable tread inserts and twin stud inserts on the toe box these are built for racing in any conditions. They're perfect for MTB riding racing and cyclocross.

LUCK's Air Sole Stream channels air through the ventilated insole for maximum cooling effect making the LUCK Spider the perfect 3 season shoe. At only 219g per shoe they're light as well, further supporting their race ready credentials.

Factor in the antimicrobial Silver Ion lining and insole treatment and the top notch materials selection and you have a pair of shoes built to last. If you want a light, stiff and fast pair of MTB Cyclocross shoes you could do a lot worse than check these out.     Received today so not tested on the road yet. Well finished, good fit (47). Weight is not as revolutionary as quoted. Out of the box and onto the scales at 425 grams per shoe. Still, for 99 on special can't complain too loudly.
