The Jack Brown Mile Muncher is built for the long haul with increased tread depth and dual compound ZSG rubber it has endless grip and durability mile after mile. Weighing it at only 282g the Mile Muncher comes with 40% more rubber depth than standard tyres.

For every rider who finds that 25mm simply isn't enough we introduced the Jack Brown 25.5mm tyre line-up. We've maxed out the tyre sizing by a whole 0.5mm- just to be different- because cycling should be more fun.

If even 25.5mm isn't enough for your needs then we've got a 30mm version as well. With more volume you get a smoother ride over poor road surfaces. (It's even been seen sprinting down the occasional canal path).

With a distinctive all-weather cross-hatched grip pattern, Protite anti-puncture belt and edge to edge taffeta-nylon puncture protection the Mile Muncher is the all conditions road tyre to ride. Wet or dry.

I've got 2 pairs of the 30mm Mile Munchers, on my titanium sportive and carbon endurance road bikes. I was running Continental Grand Prix GT and Continental Grand Prix respectively, both in 25mm and 90/95 psi front/rear. Wheels are Mavic CXP33 and ZeroCX carbon 38/50mm deep and pressures on the Mile Munchers are 80/85 on both wheelsets. I've done about 800 miles on each bike with these tyres and have swapped the wheels around as well. They are extremely comfortable and roll well, with excellent grip in both wet and dry conditions. Ok they're not quite as fast as the Contis, but I didn't expect them to be and on the deep rim carbon wheels I will have lost some aero advantage, but these days I don't care if I'm 5 minutes slower over a days ride, as long as I can stand up properly! I did find them a tight fit and hard to mount on both wheelsets, but they're on now! I got these on offer but even at full price I think they are great value. I love them and so does my bottom and my back!

I've got the 30mm ones on two sets of wheels, my Mavic CXP33s and ZeroCX 38/50mm carbon rims. Both times they were pigs to get on and seated properly. I put them on the Mavics first, with 15c rims and they were so comfortable on my titanium sportive bike. Roll pretty well and have now ridden them on wet roads after nearly two months of dry weather. Reassuringly grippy. I liked them so much I then fitted some to my 14c carbon rims on a full carbon road bike To hell with aero, I just want comfort these days. Again I loved them and they'll be staying on them! No doubt they'll make great winter tyres. But why keep a ride this plush just for winter! I bought them when they were on offer and I'll no doubt be getting some more.

Had the 25.5s on the winter bike for a while now, and been round some right shitty wet/mud/gravel covered lanes with no punctures, and relatively few nicks and cuts. Theyre wearing well too, and have given me very few issues with grip in the wet, which is more than can be said for Gatorskins. Impressed. :)

Bought a pair of the wired version (same tread). Perfect tyre for touring/ distance. Cycled 220 miles from Milton Keynes to Liverpool and then a lap of the Isle of Man. No punctures no problems, did the job perfectly!

I had these for a while, they rolled and gripped well. The tan walls looked pretty good too. I found them really tricky to put onto mavic ksyrium wheels but that could be the wheels. 13? bargain :)

Took a punt on these when I saw them whilst ordering some new bibs. They went on the rim easily by hand, and measure up just over 24mm wide on my wheel. Made in Japan the quality looks excellent. After 80 miles first impressions are good. Grip in wet and dry is fine and they roll really well.
