The VANDAL is ON-ONEs titanium-tough trail smashing 29er.
Using similar geometry to our popular alloy framed Scandal, the Titanium framed Vandal offers the same do-it-all ability with a more compliant ride feel. Offering lively but reassuring handling, the Vandal will be your perfect companion, no matter what the trail. If one ride is totally different from the other, the Vandal will suit the bill perfectly.
One of our most versatile mountain bikes, the Vandal will take on whatever trail you decide to point your wheel down that day. With a titanium frame, 130mm fork and 29er wheels, itll keep you confident and composed in all terrain whilst not holding you back on the way back up. All-day epics to fast and steep tracks, the Vandal has your back.
Up front is a 130MM Rockshox 35 fork, offering enough suspension to take the sting out of rougher trails, while being supportive enough to not sap your energy while pedalling out of the saddle. Using a tuneable air spring and offering rebound and compression adjustment, you can tailor the fork exactly to your requirements.
Srams GX Eagle groupset is easily Srams best value groupset, offering a wide range 12SP cassette with a 50 tooth top ring for getting up any gradient. A clutch mech and narrow wide chainring are also used to secure your chain, keeping the bike quiet no matter how rough the terrain.
Using a quad piston caliper and 180mm rotors, Srams G2 brakes provide all the braking power youll need for the steepest terrain youre willing to roll down.
The wheelset is Alex Rims' EXR30 model, which is tubeless compatible. The 30mm internal width gives you a wider tyre profile, offering more grip and control. Selcof finishing kit is used throughout the bike, including the wide and stable Enduro6 bars and a short 50mm stem for responsive yet controlled steering.

Pedals not included? Why not?
Pedal choice is a personal thing. Most higher end bikes are expected to be ridden with clipless pedals. These are matched to cleats on the underside of your cycling shoes. There are a few standards of these, and most cyclists tend to stick with one standard across all their bikes. So, you don't need to buy multiple pairs of shoes! Thats why Planet X dont sell bikes with pedals included. If you wish to add pedals to your order, simply select an option from the drop-down menu.
NOTE: Please make sure you check the size guide to order the correct size of this frame.

All frame size recommendations are approximate. A good fit will also depend on the correct choice of stem length, correct bike set-up for the rider and riding style.
Correct frame size choice can vary greatly with riders' torso length. If you have longer legs and a shorter torso, go for a slightly shorter stem. If you think you are borderline between sizes, and you have longer legs and a shorter torso, go for the smaller frame size. If you have shorter legs and a longer torso, go for the larger frame size to get the extra top tube length.
As the frame sizes increase, so does the length of the head tube. If you are inflexible or perhaps have a history of back problems, consider going for a larger frame size. This will increase the relative height of the handlebars making the position less “extreme”. The larger frame will also have a longer top tube, so you’ll need to compensate for this with a shorter stem.
