Easter Social Showroom Ride

On Easter Monday (that's April 9th to any heathens out there) we're having a communal spin. Following on from the well-received and highly enjoyed 'ride with Nicholas Roche' event we did last November, we're doing it all over again.

This time there probably won't be any pro-level racers but hopefully there will be some better weather. Fingers crossed that Easter continues its recent history of gorgeous weather (oops, that's cursed it!)

Meeting at the Planet X showroom at 9am the ride will be approximately 3 hours long.

The ride doesn't take in any significant climbs as it zips over to and around the Nottinghamshire area. The ride will be done in a sociable way. No one's going to be "dropped" or "broken". It's not about that sort of thing. It's a Planet X mingling ride.

With that in mind your ride guides for the day will be two of Planet X's nicest guys: Chris Last and Craig Drummond.

Chris is a very experienced rider. Make sure you get him to tell you about his team's attempt to break the Race Across America record (they missed the record by a miniscule 11 minutes would you believe?) They're off again to the States this June to have another crack at the record. Chris is also our in-house soigneur, so you never know, there might even be chance to get him to massage your legs. We're not promising though.

Craig (pictured below) is officially The Nicest Guy At Planet X. We think he even has a T-shirt somewhere that says as much. Craig is your typical talented all-rounder on a bike. Road, track or mountain. He can probably even do a cherry picker on a BMX. Again, he's a very approachable person. Feel free to pick his brains about anything and everything Planet X.

Both Chris and Craig will be able to give brief bits of 'bike fit' and setup advice as you go along too (within reason!)

•Monday April 8th at 9am.

•Meet at the Planet X showroom.

•Bring your own bike.

•Showers will be available.

•Please RSVP via email (so we have an approximate idea of numbers) to [email protected]

We hope to see you on Easter Monday. We're looking forward to it a lot.
