Staff Bikes Reduced To Clear

Staff Bikes Reduced To Clear

One of the things we're proudest of here at Planet X is our staff bike policy. Every year, each member of staff has the chance to choose any bike from our range to loan for free. The 'by riders, for riders' philosophy has been the Planet X way from the start, and it flows through the entire company: in the store, in the warehouse, in the call centre and even in the board room. There's no better way to keep the credo alive than to get every staff member on a Planet X bike.

It's not an incentive scheme. It means that everyone here is intimately involved with and passionate about the bikes & products we sell. If you phone up for advice, we can help you with first-hand experience. When our store staff tell you how awesome a bike is to ride, it's because they were riding it themselves at the weekend. When our design team put together a new frame, they’re riding prototypes as part of the design process and of course they’ll be riding the finished product when it's done.

For some of us, it's a chance to get into a new area of the sport that we've not tried before. A lycra-junkie with a garage full of road bikes can try out mountain biking. For others, it's a chance to upgrade free-of-charge and take their sport to the next level. Some of us take the opportunity to take a commuter and ride to work and some have the chance to try out cycling for the first time. The best bit is that every year, we’re allowed to swap our staff bike for a new one. It means that we're always up-to-date with our bike range and everyone gets to try out as many types of cycling as we want.

It's also great news for you because when our staff refresh their bikes each year, we offer them up as clearance bikes. After a thorough clean, a full service and a safety check from our trained mechanics, they're ready to go and you can own a custom bike that's played an integral part in the Planet X story.

The latest wave of staff bikes is coming back now so grab a bargain while you can!
