Tour de Yorkshire

Planet X Barnsley

It's almost party time! This Friday (1st May) is the start of the almighty 'Tour De Yorkshire'! Three days of world-class pro cycling, all right here on our doorstep in 'God's own county' - YORKSHIRE!

To celebrate, we're holding a Tour De Yorkshire party at the Planet X Barnsley store THIS SATURDAY - free quality food & drink, plus live TV coverage of the race and Alex Dowsett's attempt to break the hour record. PLUS 10% off all clothing and accessories in store on the day!

In addition if you buy a bike from one of our stores - in Sheffield or Barnsley - this weekend (Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May) you will get 20% - of the value of your bike - back as in-store credit to spend on clothing and accessories! So for example, if you were to spend £1000 on a bike, you would get back £200 in-store credit and if you were to spend £2000 you would get £400 in-store credit. This is a great deal that will only be taking place this Saturday and Sunday. T's & C's apply.*

So why not come along and check out our great range of bikes and kit, grab a few bargains and socialise with us while watching some great racing on the big screen.

Then on Sunday 3rd May Barnsley will be hosting a specialist sports market, of which we are pleased to be a part of aswell. The event will offer insight into the many sporting opportunities that the borough has to offer, with a particular focus on cycling.

There will also be many local businesses and organisations taking part, offering a wide range of products, services and advice.

So come along and see us in Barnsley town centre for the final race stage as it passes through South Yorkshire and seize the opportunity to grab some bargains at the same time from our stall.

*The bike must be purchased in-store this weekend (Saturday 2nd May or Sunday 3rd May), from our in-store stock, to be eligible for the deal. This deal does not include home delivery and so customers will need to be able to pick the bike up from the store themselves.
