Just In- The latest Products At Planet X June 2nd

Every week we'll be keeping you up to date with all the new products and deals that we've sourced. We're always on the look out for new products, exclusives and close out deals and each week we'll bring you the latest and greatest. Here's what's new and improved for the first week of June.

We launched the new DeeDar 27.5" Hooligan Hardtail frame a couple of weeks ago and now it's available as a sweet build with SRAM GX1. There's a beautiful simplicity to the DeeDar - it's simply made for smashing your local trials and favourite Enduro style tracks. Truth be told the DeeDar is a bit of a monster, we've based it on the geometry of modern full suspension Enduro rigs but simplified everything by keeping it real, steel, and hard in the tail.

With a long low and slack geometry, you can point the DeeDar down any trail or track with total confidence. We've been out and about all over the Peaks with it and we've not been outfoxed yet. With SRAM GX1 on board, you get a super wide gear range, total chain security and the ability to ride anything. At £1,199.99, there's nothing out there that comes close to matching the value and performance that the DeeDar serves up. Buy, ride, smile, it's that simple, it's how bikes should be.

If you didn't call into around the Sheffield showroom last Friday then you missed out, big time. 1981 Giro d'Italia and Vuelta a España winner Giovanni Battaglin was here for the day, handing out ice creams and chatting and signing autographs while everyone got the chance to enjoy a stage from the Giro on the big screen. We've just stocked up on Battaglin's latest road frames. The Battaglin Hyper is set to break records; the lightest frame in the Italian brand's line-up is perfect for long days in the saddle, Gran Fondos and recreational riding. Professional performance at an affordable price. The Hyper offers a real racing pedigree but with more comfortable geometry suited to longer rides and big days out in the saddle. Even though it's seriously light at 850g (MED size) it's no one-season-race-queen; Battaglin's have legendary reliability and the Hyper is no exception to that rule.

We'll be offering the Battaglin Hyper frameset as a complete bike in a couple of weeks time, but for now, you can grab the frameset and build your own in time for summer.

Vittoria is one of the oldest bicycle tyre manufacturers in the world, their tyres have been ridden to more Grand Tour victories than any other brand but they don't just stop at tyres they make a range of light and ultra lightweight butyl inner tubes as well as Latex tubes that are perfect for race day and for any cyclist looking to shed critical rotating mass from their wheelset. Switching to a decent set of lightweight tubes can save you 200 grams of rotating mass and that equals a whole load of watts saved every time you have to accelerate on the flat and doubly so on the climbs.

We know that it's summer outside but we're taking our lead from Cycling Weekly who have just published a Summer Waterproof Jacket Test. Our Hydrosphere Waterproof Jacket receives a stonking 9/10 score- and that was at its full £99.99 retail price. We've got them on sale for less than fifty quid at the minute. So grab one of the best waterproof jackets you can buy at an amazing price.

Next week looks like being busy, we've got loads of new gear due to turn up just in time for peak summer season.
