On the Way In

We're constantly working on new stuff, bikes, frames, components, clothing, accessories. Somewhere at Planet X someone always has something new on their desk or attached to their bike for testing. So we thought it was time to highlight some of the products that are coming soon, coming later and some that might not ever be coming at all.

Holdsworth Footwear

Jamie is keen to see the selection of fine quality accessories under the Holdsworth brand continue to grow and to that end, he's currently beavering away on a new range of classically styled Holdsworth cycling shoes. Like any proud father, he's understandably not letting them out his sight for now.

Leather, or course, handmade in Italy, naturally. We're looking at two models one with a traditional flat touring sole and another with hidden 3-bolt fixings. Each shoe will likely come in two colourways, classic black, and perforated brown leather. We're not 100% on when they'll become available, so if you like what you see let us know.

Carnac Road Shoes

Will they, won't they? The new Carnac shoe range has been in development for the past twelve months. In typical Carnac-style, they're performance orientated shoes for cyclists who demand the very best.

Featuring HM carbon outsoles and built around our tried and tested Comfort Last these new road shoes from Carnac are simply superb. Micro-Adjust dial closures ensure optimum fit and make adjusting your shoes on the fly an absolute cinch.

Carnac Helmets

Carnac isn't just known for footwear they're also the go-to helmet brand for many cyclists looking for the best performance and value for money. The Carnac Aero and Aura helmets have been huge sellers and Jamie's been working hard on their successors.

The first samples of the latest lightweight road helmet have just come in and we'll be putting them to the test over the weekend. Packed with features and weighing only 195g, this sleek looking beauty is as comfortable as it looks fast- we'll let you know how it feels out on the road.
