Planet X's Roger Aiken Wins John Beggs Road Race

Planet X team rider, Roger 'the dodger' Aiken beat a very competitive field to win the John Beggs Mens Road Race held today in his home town of Dromore.

The Dodge has won this event on 3 previous outings and is keen to beat the record of 5 wins currently held by another local man Tommy Evans.

After hearing of the Dodge's win, Evans is believed to be on the comeback trail after taking time away from racing to coach the Irish National Track Squad (watch this space).

Roger, who has not yet shaved his legs this season because he feels his form is not good enough, was delighted with his win but was still complaining of sore legs after the race as he and his other team mates headed off  for a training spin. Roger rides a Planet X Nanolight.
