Dirty Harry Wiltshire, racing for Planet X has SMASHED the Outlaw Ironman distance triathlon this weekend, in his first full distance triathlon (2.4mile swim, 112mile bike, 26.2mile marathon).

It's been a difficult year for Harry, after his ban that even made The Suntwice! He's treked around the world trying to gain points for Olympic selection, only to be overlooked. What he pulled out this weekend is truly a big "take that!" to the selectors.

Leading "from gun to tape", Harry dominated the swim (always his speciality), hammered the bike section aboard his Planet X Exocet 2 Dura Ace, then increased his lead over 2nd place Chris Goodfellow during the marathon distance run.

We're compiling a race report and full background story today, but for now, here's one of the best race reports we've found. More to follow.

Harry Wiltshire won the long distance Outlaw Triathlon at Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham, in a time of 9 hours 06:16 for the 2.4mile swim, 112mile bike ride and 26.2mile marathon run. Despite having never completed the distance before, and only deciding to enter a few days ago, he led from start to finish.

Impressive, I was racing although no where near Harry at Blenheim and he was strong there. To go fromt sprint to LONG course with a massive win is remarkable. I'm racing Challenge Henley in September and would love to be able to do the same... I don't think it'll happen though. Good work!!
