Sporting courses- Time Trialing In The Peaks

Planet X Team Carnac rider and PX staff member Peter Morris has been mixing it up on the roads this season with the region's keenest TT riders in the J.E.James Sponsored Sporting Courses Competition, part of the North Midlands TT series.

The SpoCo pits riders against each other in a league format and takes in the B&DCC Barlow 13, Sheffrec 2-up and B&DCC Longstone Edge events. In his first season tackling the league, Peter managed to charge his way to a respectable 9th place overall, not bad for a big lad who checks in around 6'3" in his bike shoes, especially given the 'sporting' nature of most of these routes.

Kitted out with a new Planet X Team Carnac Edition Exocet 2 Peter has pressed on to new PB's taking full advantage of the Exocet 2's exemplary aero package and efficient riding position. Pushing that big ring to power his way around the courses he's zipped on by just leaving the feint rumble of his wheels ringing in the ears of his minute men as he's overtaken them.

The organisers congratulate everyone who took part, "It takes a certain kind of bike rider willing to put themselves through the pain of the Peak District hills on a TT bike and there have been some great performances, not just from the winning riders - again, well done everyone". The prize presentation will take place at the end of the year.
