Delivery Information 

Here at Planet X we pride ourselves on our fast delivery, making sure you get your orders as quickly and easily as possible. Below is some information on how we get your goods to you and how much it will cost, no matter where you live in the world*. 

Provide contact details to ensure delivery 

Please help us deliver your order as efficiently as possible by providing a telephone number (preferably a mobile number) when placing your order on our website. This way our parcel carriers can contact you, should they need to, on the day of your delivery. Also, the telephone number is a requirement for Customs and providing one will speed up clearance and delivery of your parcel - this is particularly important for our customers outside the United Kingdom. 

General Order Info 

Please allow 3-5 working days for your order to be shipped. On orders up to £100 we use Royal Mail and orders over £100 we use Yodel who offer next day delivery for most items. Please note that in some cases we might use Yodel service on orders below £100 if these are oversized or heavy. The delivery method being used will be shown at checkout. Please Note at times of Heavy sale this may sometimes take a little buit longer.

For orders placed through Royal Mail Tracked 24® we guarantee same day dispatch for orders placed before 3pm UK Time Monday to Friday. Royal Mail Tracked 24® provides a UK-wide next-day delivery (from the time of dispatch) service with online tracking included.


Bike Orders: Please note that all our bikes are custom built to order. When you order a bike, it is scheduled into the build queue and you will be notified of a bike build (birth!) date. For more information on how we handle bike orders, click here

Delivery charges are always clearly displayed at the checkout stage of your order.

I've just placed an order but now I want to order something else. Can I have it sent out with my existing order?

We are unable to combine orders. Once an order has been placed we cannot amend it.

Can I change the details of my order or add new items?

Unfortunately, we cannot amend any details of your order once they are placed. This includes adding or subtracting items. We suggest that if you have ordered something that you no longer want, wait for it to arrive and then send it back to us for a refund. See our returns policy for further details.


We now offer Free UK delivery on orders over £100 except bikes, Groupsets, Bike Boxes, Frames and Wheels and selected other large package items such as Wheel bag and groupsets. Please Note: Excessively large orders are also exempt from free shipping.

New bike orders are delivered for just £20 within the UK. Channel Islands orders are charged at £56.99 per bike.  

We use a number of carriers including Royal Mail, Yodel and DHL to safely deliver your orders to your door. For orders placed for delivery in the UK including Northern Ireland, all of our carriers typically deliver within 1-2 working days after despatch but we are unable to guarantee an exact delivery day. UK orders under £100 and all Frames, Groupsets and Wheels are subject to a postage charge. 


Important Information Regarding Placing an Order for a Bike, Bike Frame or Frameset 

All Bike orders that include a Full Bike, a Bike Frame or a Frameset will be despatched with Yodel on a 1-2 day delivery service to all destinations in the UK including Northern Ireland. 

For Bike orders delivery is £20 in the UK, however, it is possible for you to upgrade to a 24 Hour service with DHL for a surcharge of £69.99. If you would like this service then please indicate this at the point you place your order.

 If your order is dispatched via courier you will receive a 'despatch email' confirming which Courier is delivering your order to you - this despatch email also provides you with a tracking number. 

If you don't have your tracking number, or disagree with the information provided by the results, or believe the Courier has let you down, then please contact our customer service team on email us from our contact us page and we will happily investigate and resolve any issues for you. 

We only use reputable Couriers for all our deliveries. We entrust them to deliver our products safety and quickly to our customers worldwide. Please get in touch if you experience any issues or delays.

British Forces BFPO 

 We accept orders to all BFPO addresses which are charged at the UK Standard Delivery rate, there is no surcharge from Planet X for delivering to BFPO addresses. There are some restrictions regarding which products can be sent but we will contact you if your order is affected by this. For delivery times please refer to the BFPO website -click here

USA / International Orders 

Postage costs are calculated automatically and displayed at the top of the order form when you select the destination country, and depend on the size and weight of the products being ordered. 

All items are despatched from our UK warehouse. 

Transit Times vary depending on the Country but are typically between 5 and 10 days. Your tracking number will clearly show you the progress of your order and your expected delivery date. 

For International orders, you may be subject to local duty / import taxes, if they apply. These are your responsibility and will be payable locally. 

The shipping company should advise you of any charges, or else you should consult your local customs office. Unfortunately, we cannot advise you what these charges may be, and Planet X is not responsible for them. 

If these local import / customs charges are refused or not paid by our customer, then the item could be returned to Planet X, or possibly destroyed if too expensive to return. 

Please note: if this happens, we may not be able to refund you for your order, and if we do we would not be able to refund any original postage costs and can only refund for the returned products, minus any costs incurred by Planet X. 

If you are placing an order for delivery to Norway, please include your Personal Identification number (PIN) in the 'Courier instructions' box at Checkout. All orders without a PIN will be automatically returned to sender by our Couriers, as they will be unable to deliver it.
