You might have already seen our time-lapse video of Stage 1 of the 2014 Tour de France from Leeds to Harrogate. We're dead excited about the Tour visiting our home county and even more excited about Stage 2 finishing just down the road from our Sheffield HQ! Stage 2 from York to Sheffield is a tough one. It includes nine (9!) categorised climbs, including the iconic Holme Moss and the deadly Jenkin Road, which ramps up to a 30% gradient! On a recent recce of the course, riders from Giant-Shimano said they might have to get off and push when they get to Jenkin Road after 190km of racing. Luckily we were in a car when we took the video, so that wasn't necessary, though we did get caught up in some of the road works taking place ready for the tour's arrival in July! Here it is:
