Back into the Box for the Winter

Back into the Box for the Winter Felt a little flat (no pun intended) after IMUK and took longer than usual to recover but at least its out of the system and more than anything it was a good days training. Since then, club TTs have been a little poor. Still won 23/23 but wanted some fast times. A fastest ride of 20-32 in a club event this year is all i had to show with no club records sine the 1.48 at the National 50. However, a few hurtbox sessions of sprints and intervals and the form comes back, i just dont think that i respond to high mileage, all my work has to HURT or it means nothing. Some training route PBs have been tumbling and last night smashed the club 5 record by 10 seconds which is something i am pretty happy with. Since my running woes have passed, i'm now running well but not fast so thats next to get the treatment. Swimming continues to improve and hope to be under 5.30 for 400m by the end of the month. 3 Races to go: Vitruvian Half: Top 10 will be enough Rugby RCC 4 hourTT: Club record of 95 miles needed New Forest Half: Top 3 will make my birthday pretty good, but a win would be nice.
